It was an exhilarating experience attending Adobe Alchemy — Glorious Past, Golden Future, Intern Summit 2022.
It was wonderfully hosted by Angela Rebello, whose energy and enthusiasm kept us all pumped up and super excited throughout the event! With her extraordinarily lucid communication, she made the event a magical one.
The event started out with an inspiring Keynote Address by Shanmugh Natarajan, who gave an important piece of advice — “An internship is a great way to learn and watch. Determine what you need instead of comparing to college! Take pleasure in your work.”
This was followed by an enriching session by Shiv Saini and Jayakumar Subramanian on ‘Creators of today vs/and Innovators of tomorrow’. The session was extremely knowledgeable, and gave us a lot of food for thought.
Next up we had a marvelous session by Payal Singh on ‘Adobe Document Cloud — a student’s trusted companion’, who focused on Adobe’s supremacy right from the invention of PDF to creating an impact globally.
Following through was a delightful and engaging talk by Rahul Vishwaroop on ‘Adobe CC Express — one tap magic to your posts’. He let us know the challenges that led to interesting innovations throughout Adobe’s Creative Suite history, and how Adobe creates extremely powerful solutions.
The next session on ‘Build a brand for yourself’ was a gloriously refreshing one by Vidit Taneja and Savi Munjal — Founders of Bruised Passports. They let us into their blissful world filled with love, laughter and fun, and how they create memories that last forever through their travels around the world.
We then had Vyshak Venugopalan deliver his incredible talk on ‘Orchestrating Customer Journey — Adobe Experience Cloud’.
Following through came one of the coolest sessions of the day, delivered fabulously by Surgan Jandial and Rishabh Jain. They spoke about the future of Metaverse, Adobe’s plans to venture into the space, and demonstrated the concepts through smashing 3D visuals and a lot of mind-boggling tech!
The closing session of the day was an enlightening one by the erudite and scholarly Susmita Mohanty. She left us thoroughly inspired from her journey, her startup Earth2Orbit and her immense contributions to the field.
Apart from these myriad cultivating sessions, the event had a Networking Area, allowing us to interact with like-minded interns, exchange thoughts, ideas, opinions, and have a fruitful discussion. There were also game avenues and a photo booth, letting us preserve this day with us forever.
A huge shoutout and thanks to the Adobe University Talent Team — Harpreet Kaur, Jerin Raju, Sneha Kamath, Samarth Arya, Nabeel Younus, Shelly Roy, Swati Kalra, Ragini Khanna, Mudita Khurana, Ajit Kumar, Kanwar Dev Singh for allowing us this magnificent opportunity to hear from such wonderful speakers, and experience a day filled with fun!
